Cariocount

Cariocount is a scorekeeping app for the card game Carioca. We designed it to work without accounts and to keep game data on your device whenever possible. This policy explains what data may be processed when ads are shown and when purchases are made.

Data We Collect

Cariocount does not require an account and we do not collect personal profile information directly from you. However, when ads are shown in the free tier, Google AdMob may process limited device-level data such as a device identifier in order to serve ads and support ad delivery.

We configure ads as non-personalized. We do not use App Tracking Transparency and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Data Stored on Your Device

Cariocount may store game-related data locally on your device (for example: players, scores, and app settings). This data is not sent to Fravilabs. Purchase status used to unlock the ad-free experience may also be reflected locally on your device, while the purchase itself is handled by Apple.

Third-Party Services

Cariocount uses Google AdMob to display ads in the free tier of the app. AdMob may process limited device-level data to deliver ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad delivery.

Ads in Cariocount are configured as non-personalized. We do not use AdMob to track you across apps or websites for personalized advertising.

Cariocount also offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases, billing, and purchase restoration are handled through Apple’s App Store infrastructure.

In-App Purchases

Cariocount offers an optional one-time purchase to remove ads from the app. Payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Children’s Privacy

Cariocount is not designed to collect personal information from children. If ads are shown in the free tier, third-party ad technology may process limited device-level data as described above.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date and publish the new version on this page.
